Largest electronics retailer is expanding full steam ahead in the GCC
Emax, the largest electronics retailer in the Middle East, is scheduled to launch brand new stores across the GCC in the months ahead. The bold move will see the electronics retail giant expand to up to 40 stores in the region by the end of 2012.
Speaking about the expansion, Neelesh Bhatnagar, CEO of Emax said: “Through research and market analysis we’ve identified significant areas where we can further extend our reach. Opening of new Emax stores in key shopping destinations and retail locations broadens our brand portfolio and most importantly provides easy access to a large segment of our target customers.”
Starting off with the inauguration of a new Emax store at Dubai Mall on 28 March 2012, UAE will witness two more store openings at Fujairah City Centre and Al Safeer Mall (RAK) in 2012.
The second half of the year will see the retail chain focusing on store openings in the GCC including in Oman, Qatar and four outlets in Saudi Arabia.
Bhatnagar continued: “Trends suggest that consumer demand is heading for a steep incline this year, especially with the introduction of newer and advanced technology. Living up to expectations of being the largest electronics retailer in the Middle East, expansion into key areas in the GCC is a significant move to meet this growing demand for electronics in the region.”
Emax offers the best in audio, video, home appliances, personal care, photography, mobile and telecom to name a few. Bhatnagar added: “The store, a one-stop-shop for all electronics needs, is dedicated to providing the best in the market at competitive prices along with added benefits such as great after-sales services as well as reward points using loyalty schemes including Air Miles, Shukran and Skywards. Customers get more than just electronics at Emax.”
